The Company was started from virtually nil money by Mr. S.P.Shukla. Mr. Shukla a Law Graduate, created history in Lucknow and surrounding area by providing quality services to patients. In 1986, Mr. Shukla started a Retail Outlet by the name of Shakuntala Medical Store at Nishatganj, Lucknow. This outlet became the first outlet in UP to operate from 7 AM to 11 PM, 365 days a year.
In the year 1992, due to business constraints, the retail outlet was shifted to Mahanagar area of Lucknow. The timings for operations were same as before 7AM to 11PM and open 365 days a year. Three extension counters running successfully in Lucknow.
In 1996, the wholesale unit was started in the name of Shakun Medicals. The unit went on to become a pioneer unit in the field of Oncology, HIV and Critical Care.
In Order to pursue further growth in the year 2003 a pvt ltd company with the name of Shakun Sales Pvt. Ltd. was formed. Today it is the umbrella organization for all over subsequent business Vertical.
Started as C & F agents for Biocon in the year 2006. Presently acting as C & F Agents for 9 Companies. Divesified into Tyre Business and presently actinng as C&F for CEAT Tyres.
Opened the the largest Pradhan Mantri Janaushadhi Kendra (Model Store) in UP, ensuring availability of quality medicines at affordable prices to all. Three retail counters are already operational.
